Small clumps may be flushed via toilet where permitted, offering a convenient alternative to traditional clay litter.

  • Pour 2 to 3 inches of The Licker Store litter into a clean, empty, and dry litter box. Scoop out clumps and solids daily. Dispose of them in the trash of by composting or flushing. Flush only 1-2 small clumps at a time and let them soak for 20 minutes to soften and break down before flushing. Be sure to check with your municipality for flushing and composting regulations. Main the litter level at 2 to 3 inches. Empty and clean the entire litter box monthly, then refill with The Licker Store litter. The litter may be used with well-maintained septic systems. Not for use with low-flow toilets. According to California state law, cat litter should not be flushed down toilets or disposed of in drains. Please check with your local and state regulations before flushing.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Store in a cool and dry place. A parasite found in cat feces can transmit a disease called toxoplasmosis, be sure to always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter. Pregnant, nursing and individuals with suppressed immune systems should avoid any litter box maintenance. Consult your physician for more information.
